Three Men Shot in Separate Incidents Across Louisville Monday Night and Tuesday Morning

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Three men were injured in a series of shootings across Louisville late Monday night and early Tuesday morning, according to the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD). All victims were transported to the University of Louisville Hospital and are expected to survive their injuries.

The first shooting occurred around 10:20 p.m. on Monday in the 3000 block of Greenwood Avenue, located in the Parkland neighborhood. Officers arrived on the scene to find a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim, who was outside at the time of the shooting, received immediate first aid from responding officers. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Louisville Fire personnel arrived shortly thereafter, and the victim was transported to UofL Hospital for further treatment. Authorities have confirmed that the victim is expected to recover from his injuries.

Just after midnight on Tuesday, police were called to the 2100 block of Algonquin Parkway in response to a stabbing. However, the situation was later updated to a shooting incident. When officers arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound. Officers again rendered aid until EMS and Louisville Fire crews took over, transporting the victim to UofL Hospital. Investigators believe the shooting occurred outside a business near the intersection of Dixie Highway and W. Lee Street, and the victim made his way to Algonquin Parkway before seeking help. Authorities say the victim is expected to survive.

The third shooting occurred around 1 a.m. on Tuesday in the 7500 block of Garrison Road, near Fairdale. Officers arrived at the scene to find a man with a gunshot wound to his leg. As in the previous incidents, officers provided first aid until EMS and Louisville Fire arrived. The victim was also transported to UofL Hospital and is believed to be in stable condition.

LMPD continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding each of the shootings. No suspects have been identified at this time.
