Man Injured in Old Louisville Shooting, Expected to Survive

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man was hospitalized after being shot in Old Louisville on Saturday night, according to Louisville Metro Police.

At approximately 10 p.m., officers responded to a shooting incident near the intersection of 4th and Hill streets. The victim, believed to be in his late 30s, was shot in the hip. However, he was able to make his way to the University of Louisville Hospital by private means before officers arrived at the scene.

Authorities report that the man is expected to survive his injuries. The Louisville Metro Police Department’s Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is actively investigating the case.
