TAYLOR COUNTY, KY – A death investigation is currently underway in Taylor County following the discovery of a man’s body on Friday afternoon. Kentucky State Police (KSP) responded to a call from the Taylor County Dispatch Center at approximately 12:48 p.m. regarding a man found dead on Gaddis Ridge Road in Elk Horn, Kentucky.
Upon arrival, troopers discovered a vehicle that had been burned, with the body of a man located outside the vehicle. The circumstances surrounding the death remain unclear, and authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased or any further details about the incident.
An autopsy has been scheduled for Saturday in an effort to determine the cause of death. The KSP’s criminal investigations division is leading the case, and the investigation is ongoing.
