LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man is dead after a shooting Wednesday evening in Louisville’s Jacobs neighborhood. According to the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD), officers were dispatched to the 3600 block of Manslick Road around 7:22 p.m. after receiving reports of a shooting. The location is situated near 7th Street Road and Berry Boulevard, not far from Shively.
Upon arrival, police found a man who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency responders transported the victim to UofL Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
LMPD’s Homicide Unit is currently investigating the incident, though they have not identified any suspects or made any arrests at this time. Authorities are urging anyone with information related to the shooting to come forward.
