Louisville, Ky. — Louisville Metro Police are investigating three separate shootings that occurred overnight, leaving three men injured. Authorities say the incidents, which took place in different locations across the city, are not believed to be connected at this time.
The first shooting occurred around 10:20 p.m. on Monday in the 3000 block of Greenwood Avenue. Officers responded to the scene and found a man outside with a gunshot wound. The victim’s condition has not been disclosed, and police are continuing to gather information about the incident.
In the early hours of Tuesday morning, around 1:00 a.m., another shooting was reported in the 7500 block of Garrison Road. Police found a man with a gunshot wound to his leg. The victim, who was alert and conscious, was transported to University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities have not released further details on his identity.
While the investigation into these shootings continues, Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) officials have stated that no suspects have been identified at this stage. The LMPD’s Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is actively looking into the cases.
