Louisville Metro Police seize more cars under street racing ordinance

Louisville, KY – According to the LMPD officials, several individuals violated the city’s street racing ordinance in downtown Louisville on Main Street, unaware that a detective in an unmarked car was observing their actions.

Additional units responded, leading to the following results:

– 5 arrests
– 3 vehicles towed (two for street racing)
– 2 handguns recovered

The vehicles seized under the street racing ordinance will remain in the impound lot for the next six months.
