Louisville, KY – According to the city officials, all pedestrians and vehicles will be detoured around the bridge construction site via the attached map.
City officials also said that the construction for this bridge is funded through the Bridges Kentucky program administered by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.
This bridge is a single-span concrete deck bridge with concrete rectangular balustrades and is the only non-Milan arch bridge in the park.
It will receive a new bridge deck and rails, in addition to improvements to the balustrades and toe walls.
The general contractor on the work is Scott and Murphy.
The project cost is approximately $700,000.
