(This message was added in version 6.7.0.) in /home/kamasuka/public_html/LouisvilleDailyPost.com/wp-includes/functions.php on line 6114Louisville, KY – According to the LMPD officials, the officer-involved shooting occurred right after 6 p.m. Monday evening.<\/span><\/p>\n The 911 caller told the dispatcher that they spotted\u00a0multiple juvenile males illegally entenng a detached garage locatca on a vacant\u00a0property with what was reported as a suspected stolen vehicle.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Officers respond to the\u00a0800 block of S. 38th Street. When they arrived on scene, they could hear subjects inside\u00a0of the garage and had drawn their weapon due to multiple unknown threats. <\/span><\/p>\n As the officers waited for back up, the garage\u00a0door opened, and multiple juveniles ran out of the garage. As one officer tried to detain the suspects, his service weapon\u00a0discharged one bullet. The discharge is believed to have been unintentional. <\/span><\/p>\n One teen suspect was detained from the group\u00a0that ran, but refused to answer any questions.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Neither the officers nor the individual detained were injured during the incident.
