When it comes to teen dating, a lot has changed over the years, especially with the advent of social media and online dating apps. In some ways, dating is a little riskier than it was years ago because of the ease of meeting people online and the ability connect with strangers, but in other ways it’s safer because that same technology can also provide a safety net.\u00a0If you’re like most parents, you probably are a little unnerved by the prospect of your teen dating. When it comes to keeping your teen safe in the dating world, it’s important to establish a few guidelines and boundaries.<\/span><\/p>\n

The 17-year-old boy, Julio, reportedly\u00a0come home, where he planned to have a pleasant dinner with his 24-year old girlfriend, who was not named. Ufortunately, during their dinner, the teen suffered a seizure. It was later determined that the cause of death was a bloot clot in the brain.\u00a0When inquiring as to the events that had led up to the seizure, it was revealed that Julio\u2019s girlfriend had given him a kiss on the neck, commonly known in romantic parlance as a \u201chickey\u201d. Apparently,it was determined that the suction from the hickey was caused by deep, extended kissing on the jugular vein in the neck, according to The Sun.<\/strong><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

This led to the blockage in the vein, resulting in a blot clot. The blood clot flowed to the brain where it caused the seizure, and subsequent stroke. While Julio\u2019s girlfriend had called the emergency paramedics, they had unfortunately arrived too late to save him, as the young seventeen year old had already expired on the scene. The teen’s\u00a0parents blame their late son\u2019s girlfriend for this tragedy, citing that they had not approved of their relationship in the first place, as they had even asked their son to break up with her, being that she was seven years older than him.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is not known at this time whether they are pressing charges against her.\u00a0His moms and dads never ever authorized of the relationship, according to Hoy Estado de Mexico. The female was 7 years older than him and vanished after the incident. Julio\u2019s parents were already upset over the relationship due to the age difference.
