LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Two juvenile boys were hospitalized after being shot Wednesday night in the Russell neighborhood of Louisville. The Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) responded to reports of a shooting near the intersection of 26th Street and West Chestnut Street around 9 p.m.
According to LMPD spokesperson Dwight Mitchell, both victims were transported to the University of Louisville Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. As of now, their conditions remain unclear, and no further updates have been provided regarding their recovery.
The LMPD’s Non-Fatal Shooting Unit has taken over the investigation, but authorities have not identified any suspects, and no arrests have been made at this time.
