According to reports, the photo was taken in San Salvador de Jujuy city by Monica who then shared the photo online to bless others. In the photo, what is shaped like Jesus Christ, wearing a cassock, has his arms outstretched. The image has since been compared by many social media users to the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro.
There have also been comments from other users, saying that the photo shows Jesus Christ wearing the crown of thorns. This crown of thorns was placed on Christ’s head before his crucifixion, as the three Gospels wrote. Unbelievers, however, were quick to dismiss the photo, calling the image as a “truck of light.” One also suggests that the photo was Photoshopped.
Those with strong faith, however, continue to believe in the image’s power. One commented that the photo “allows us to keep in our path and have a better hope for tomorrow.”
