Oldham County Teen Found Dead Near Burned Vehicle in Taylor County

TAYLOR COUNTY, Ky. — A 17-year-old from Oldham County was discovered dead last week near a burned car, prompting an ongoing investigation by the Kentucky State Police (KSP).

The body of Nathan Hammond, a student at Oldham County High School, was found on Friday, March 1, in a remote area on Gaddis Ridge Road in Taylor County, approximately two hours away from his hometown. Taylor County Coroner Daniel Cook confirmed the identity of the teen, noting that the cause of death remains under investigation.
